This month we caught up with local graphic and web designer, Heather Whitmore. Chalk Eastbourne first met Heather as a college student when she volunteered as a steward at Eastbourne DigiFest 2023. This event led to her securing her first full-time position in the digital sector with Fountain Digital.

Audio production company On The Sly recently when they invited us to take a look around their new state-of-the-art recording studios in Eastbourne. We visited them to learn more about their audio business and podcast space.

Sussex, UK - 23rd Feb 2024: Racquet Studios, a Sussex-based trailblazer in the realm of Virtual Production, celebrated an immensely successful Student Open Day with East Sussex College at their cutting-edge Eastbourne facility on Thursday 22nd February, offering more than 120 attendees from a range of creative courses a deep dive into the transformative world of virtual content creation and filmmaking.

Following their talk at Eastbourne DigiFest 2023, we were intrigued to learn more about the new technologies being used by Racquet Studios, based in the Devonshire Quarter in Eastbourne. Aside from their mind-blowing virtual film production work, they have been working hard on creating digital twins using photogrammetry and 3D modelling techniques. What does that actually mean?
