Tennis Week is here in Eastbourne, bringing the sunshine with it. Long may it last!

Open event with Brompton Technology to celebrate Racquet Studios' 1st Birthday

Join Racquet Studios for their latest open event with special guest, Brompton Technology, which takes place this Thursday 27th June from 5.30pm.

This event will provide an opportunity to network with others operating in the creative and tech sectors while exploring visual production workflows in Racquet Studios' specialist virtual production facility in Eastbourne.

Brompton Technology's LED processing has been used on high-end LED-based virtual production since the method took off with The Mandalorian.

Discover what has been learnt about shooting with LED arrays effectively, and what techniques have emerged to make this easier. Patrick Goodden of Brompton Technology will cover these topics and more in an informative presentation during the evening, revealing new LED processing features to come with the company's next firmware release.

A Chat With: Heather Whitmore at web and digital marketing agency Fountain Digital

This month we caught up with local graphic and web designer, Heather Whitmore. Chalk Eastbourne first met Heather as a college student when she volunteered as a steward at Eastbourne DigiFest 2023. This event led to her securing her first full-time position in the digital sector with Fountain Digital.

In our chat with Heather, we discussed everything from learning to network and leaving college to the joys of the creativity and learning from client feedback in her job.

Heather's is one of the great success stories from Eastbourne DigiFest last year, and we hope to be able to give similar opportunities to other college students at this year's event. If you're interested in getting involved as a steward, drop us a line at hello@chalkeastbourne.com.
