SEM/SEO Marketing Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic SEM/SEO Marketing Consultant to join our digital marketing team. In this role, you will drive the success of our clients' digital campaigns by leading SEO and PPC strategies that increase visibility, traffic, and conversions. You will manage a wide variety of search and paid campaigns across different platforms, ensuring our clients receive impressive ROI and measurable results. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to create impactful digital marketing campaigns that align with client goals.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy and Execution:

Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify ranking opportunities and strategy improvements.

Develop and execute both on-page and off-page SEO strategies to boost organic search visibility.

Complete technical SEO audits, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to ensure site health and optimal performance.

Optimise content for SEO, including website copy, blogs, and landing pages.

Monitor SEO performance, provide regular reports, and adapt strategies based on data and KPIs.

PPC Campaign Management:

Plan, set up, and manage highly effective PPC campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, and Video), ensuring budget optimisation and ROI.

Conduct A/B testing, keyword optimisation, and ad copy adjustments to continually refine campaigns.

Regularly analyse campaign performance metrics, optimise bids, and adjust strategies for maximum effectiveness.

Create compelling and visually appealing ad creatives for paid social media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

Stay updated with the latest trends in paid search and paid social, ensuring innovative approaches are applied to client campaigns.

Campaign Reporting and Analysis:

Provide detailed, regular reporting on SEO and PPC campaign performance, including insights on traffic, rankings, conversions, and other key metrics.

Utilise tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and other SEO/PPC platforms to analyse data and track performance.

Identify areas for improvement in both SEO and PPC efforts and present strategic recommendations to clients.

WordPress Management:

Work with the web development team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across WordPress sites.

Take ownership of on-page SEO by independently managing and updating WordPress sites, ensuring all pages are optimised for search engines.

Create and optimise landing pages in WordPress to support PPC and paid social campaigns, ensuring alignment with ad goals and conversion optimisation.

Implement SEO-friendly structures, including meta tags, alt tags, headers, and internal linking, directly within WordPress.

Utilise WordPress tools and plugins (such as Yoast SEO) to maintain site health and monitor performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve any technical SEO issues within WordPress, ensuring the site is fast, functional, and optimised for both users and search engines.

Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create visually appealing, high-converting landing pages for specific ad campaigns.

Client Consultation and Collaboration:

Attend client briefings to understand their business goals, target audiences, and digital marketing objectives.

Work closely with clients to keep them updated on campaign performance, gather feedback, and adjust strategies to align with their expectations.

Provide consultancy on the best SEO and PPC practices to enhance client visibility and conversions.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Collaborate with our creative, content, and web development teams to ensure SEO and PPC strategies are aligned with overall campaign goals.

Assist in creating SEO-friendly web page mock-ups and provide insights to the web team for improvements.

Work with the design team to create high-quality PPC visuals that align with clients’ brand identities.

Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SEO, PPC, and digital marketing best practices.

Pursue ongoing training and certifications to enhance expertise in SEO/PPC management and digital strategy.

Experience and Skills Required:

A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in SEO and PPC management, with a track record of delivering measurable results.

Deep knowledge of Google Ads (Search, Display, Video) and other paid search platforms.

Demonstrated experience in SEO, including technical, on-page, and off-page optimisation.

Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and other SEO/PPC tools.

Ability to manage budgets, optimise campaigns for ROI, and report effectively on performance metrics.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex strategies in simple terms to clients.

Experience in paid social media marketing across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Blueprint) are highly desirable.
