Due to internal promotion, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our IT team as a first line IT Technician on our Service Desk.
As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing generalist IT support to employees and Councillors while supporting the Service Desk and Infrastructure Manager with technical projects. You will be responsible for a range of IT helpdesk duties, ensuring the smooth operation of key IT systems and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven IT Support Technician to join a dynamic team. You will provide first rate support and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide IT helpdesk support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows, Office, and the 160 systems we run.
Deploy IT equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
Maintain and update IT equipment inventory, performing upkeep as needed.
