What’s new?

Last month we looked at London, now we compare data with Brighton. Here's a new infographic for you.

Despite Eastbourne being a great place for digital, it still exists here. So what is our town doing about it?

A Deep Dive on Digital

The LSIP Digital Deep Dive Steering Group has kicked off this month.

Led by the Sussex Chamber of Commerce, the DfE Local Skills Improvement Plan aims to research where there are skills gaps in businesses as well as how businesses train staff and engage with education providers.

The LSIP originally looked at six sectors and published a report earlier this year, but the Deep Dive is now looking in more detail at the issues specific to each sector, starting with digital.

Can you help this project understand more about your business?

Take this short survey by Friday 10th June to provide your input to the project and shape digital skills in Sussex.

One last thing... can you offer work experience this summer?

One teacher in our schools' network has asked if any digital companies are able to offer work experience placements to Year 10 students for a week from Monday 27 June to Friday 1 July.

If you can help out, please reply to this email and we'll put you in touch.
