Now, we're looking for a creative Social Media Intern to help us grow our digital footprint and inspire our community!
The Role
As our Social Media Intern, you’ll be at the heart of our online presence. You’ll work closely with our team to create engaging content, grow our following, and showcase our fabulous products on TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience with a small but mighty team, hone your social media skills, and be part of an exciting brand.
What You’ll Be Doing
Content Creation: Design and Capture the Salty Bottom vibe through on-brand photos, Reels, and TikTok videos. Edit posts using CapCut and Adobe Express. Capture BTS moments during shoots and in the office.
Community Engagement: Build connections by interacting with our followers, responding to comments, DMs and nurturing our community.
Content Calendar: Assist in planning and scheduling posts for Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest to keep our content fresh, relevant, and aligned with key dates and trends.
Influencer Marketing: Bring forward influencer suggestions (gifted and paid) and maintain a contact log.
Affiliate Program Support: Assist in applications and approaching suitable candidates.
Analytics Tracking: Monitor engagement and reach metrics, and report back with ideas to improve our social strategy.
What We’re Looking For
Passionate Storyteller: You love telling stories through photos, videos, and clever captions!
Digital Experience: Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest is a must. Experience with video editing (CapCut, Reels/TikTok's preferable)
Creative Eye: You can create scroll-stopping content that captures the fun and adventurous spirit of Salty Bottom.
Strong Communicator: You’re a clear writer and comfortable interacting with our community and being featured in our content (product try-ons and voiceovers).
